The 5 Dragon Daughter

I can't believe I haven't posted about The 5 Dragon Daughter yet!!! It's only consumed our lives for the last few months and if you've seen it then you know.

An amazing creative genius by the name of Matt Black wrote an allegory for the life of Christ that included original artwork, illustrations, narration and music. Basically close to two hours of pure awesomeness!! and me? i got to play the cello for it!!! yes. a HUGE dream of mine has come true... i've managed to squeak out some basic notes on the cello and take part in an amazing production with some of THE most amazing people on this planet.

We've had three performances at our church, with about 300 people each night and still they want more. our next step is working on a better quality recording of the songs and hopefully a DVD of the night and quite possibly more to come... but time will tell and we'll have to see what the Lord wants to do with it since it's His to begin with.

oh i almost forgot, i also had the opportunity to submit a photograph on canvas for one of the chapter displays. I'm very happy with how it turned out!

all I can say is... this has been one of the most amazing seasons of my life and I am so privileged to have been a part of something so wonderful with such an incredible group of people! :)
