Anne's motivate me monday post highlighted a great website, MotivatedMoms.com. the thing with sites like this though, is that one list does not fit all and i have the kind of personality that i like to know where everything is and make sure everything is covered {yeah, control freak} so usually what i do {whether it's with a recipe, or sewing pattern, or chore list, etc...} i end up tweaking it so much that it would have been easier to just start fresh from the start. {especially with lists... i love lists! but i need them to fit me perfectly}
so of course that's what i did. taking into consideration what motivatedmoms had and everything else i would want done and the days that it works better for me to do certain things i made my own list. and BOY is THAT a long list {95 things to be exact}. then i just distributed all the stuff on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
if you're the type of person who doesn't want to figure out what and where everything should go and your days are flexible for shopping and errands and such, then i say utilize the motivated moms e-books, but i like to do things for myself, so i did. :)
feel free to take a look at mine and use it, change it, etc... as a master list for stuff.

**Edit**
forgot to mention {in case you couldn't tell} the black chores are daily/weekly. the blue are the bimonthly {which after looking at this list may soon become once a month items, lol} and the green are monthly items. and just a note... don't be too impressed yet... i haven't actually tried this out. i think in order to ease into it and not get overwhelmed, my goal might be to make it through just the daily and weekly stuff consistently at first {which technically is what i should be doing now, though i did add a couple things} then i'll add in the bimonthly and so on.

Oh, I like that chart, Dana!! I will definitely try and tweak it to fit me (unless of course someone just wants to come over and do it for me!!). Thanks for sharing!
My that is one scary chart! I would feel so hopeless if I didn't tick all those little boxes! I admire you for using it though, just wish I could have such willpower!

That is AMAZING!!! I finally broke down and got a housekeeper 2 x a month. I just could not get it all done; the way I want it done anyway....LOL Perfectionism hurts!! This blows my mind!!
Wow girl! That is a whole lot of organizational skills.
You are amazing!! lol I know you can do all that too and be sane. =P I'm like... "hmm, are all the toilets flushed? No? Flush 'em. 'K, we're good." LOL
I think I need a nap...
