moving right along...
so sometimes, you're motivated to do something, but you may not know where or how to start. sometimes we don't even know what the journey or the end result is "supposed" to look like.
one of our wonderful pastors was urging us to think/meditate/figure/ponder/etc... what it means to seek the Lord. What does that look like? how do we flesh that out? as individuals. as a community. as a church body. etc.
"Then they entered into a covenant to seek the Lord God of their fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;" ~2 Chron. 15:12so along with linking up your own MMM post, please leave a comment sharing {or share it in your linked post if you prefer} what you have found it means to seek the Lord in the everyday.

I will post my Motivate Me Monday a little later when I have more time. Just wanted to let you know I gave you a little shout out today on my blog. thuecrue.blogspot.com
Great post! Exactly what I needed to read and ponder this morning. Isn't God so amazing to meet us where we are ... thank you for being used by Him today!
I like to fast when I am getting closer to God. Not just starve myself but really study scripture and pray. Singing to Him is another way as well as being quiet and focusing on Him.
Bizarre, I was just pondering several of the things you mention in this post to discuss with my Bible study group tomorrow: how grateful I am for the body of Christ (specifically those who God has put in my immediate circle of friends), and how we begin to see how the will of God can be "fleshed out" in our lives. I've really been thinking about those two in conjunction with one another. God has brought sisters into my life who are farther along the path that to where I want to end up, so I can get a tangible idea of how things are "fleshed out" in their lives. It's so important for us to see real people who have been there ahead of us.
Sometimes I take a passage of scripture and just sing it to the Lord. It makes me think about the meaning of the words.
I think sometimes it's as simple as remembering that we serve God in the most mundane of tasks. Like changing a baby, or cleaning the toilets. Because everything we do in service of our families, we also do for God. And when I remember that, I find I don't have to seek Him at all, because He's right there with me.
Peace!
