July 4th Lanterns

i'm totally in the crafting mood and i happen to have all this stuff around the house. you probably do too!

you'll need:
old glass jars
tissue paper
stickers
stamps/ink
double stick tape
tea lights or votives

I pre stamped a sheet of white and blue tissue paper {i didn't have red}. it did double the work without me realizing it though... the ink went through to the next piece of tissue, so that was nice! :)

Then i just let the kids go to town with the stickers!

we had red dots and stars.

{somebody was pouting about the stickers not coming off easily}

i just cut out strips from the decorated tissue to fit each jar and adhered it with double stick tape.

and the end result!

quick.

cheap.

festive!
